Welcome to Seymour!

A few basics to keep in mind as you explore:

• Functionality is severely limited unless you share your location. We haven't added the UX to handle this gracefully so please oblige when asked to share location.
  
  
• Currently, only Google Auth is supported to create an account. Your name and email are shared from Google as part of that auth and that information will not be used for any purpose outside of identifying your user account. Seymour takes privacy seriously and your information is stored securely.
  
  
• Seymour helps you save places that you like, and what you like about them, and then recall them by that information later. The idea is to look for things like 'a good place for a beer on an outdoor patio', and recall places based on how you have tagged them. You can also connect with others (using their Google account login) from your Connections page and see the things they like!
  
  
• A key thing to test is the quality of search results. Based on what you tagged, are you getting places back that you'd expect? When this doesn't happen, please provide the query you used and the results you expected, so we can refine the search approach!
  
  
• Please send on any questions, feedback, or feature requests! This app is in private alpha so feedback channels would have been provided to you directly.
